So, basically this entry is to show to you guys that a seafarers life is not just about navigating or engineering. Its more than that, this time I will show to you one of the modular courses we had during our time in ALAM .
We are not seafarers only but we are also medical officer , firefighters , safety officer and much more.
Let me shine some light on this topic especially when we took an adventure as firefighters

| Now im wearing a BA set A.K.A. Breathing Apparatus set. We wore this upon entering the smoke house. The smoke house is designed with maze-like path . We were asked to save the victim(Dummy) in the smoke house through all that maze |

| The instructor was teaching us how to use a BA set properly. How to check the pressure or even to check if there is any leakage.We were given all this precious knowledge in our MBT or Modular Basic Training |

This firefighting course is to teach us how to fight fire onboard because obviously no firefighter would come to rescue us in the middle of the sea .
So we have to learn how to fight it ourself. There are also other courses in MBT but that's for another time ok?
In summary a seafarers life is not easy . We have to deal with many things that involve other line of work . That's why the pay is high plus all the risk we are going to face onboard one day
