The Malaysian Maritime Academy is a maritime training academy in Malaysia. The main campus and training centre are located in Kuala Sungai Baru, Melaka. Since 1977, the academy promotes training for seagoing personnel.

The Academy made its maiden voyage when there was a need of Malaysian seafarers. This was pioneered by MISC Berhad, International Shipping Carriers Hong Kong and the Malaysian Ministry of Transport which contributed to the birth of Maritime Training Centre (MTC).Today, ALAM is fully owned by MISC Berhad.
