Firstly, ni one of other operation jugak la on OSV. Other than anchor handling, supply, standby, OSV also engaged in static tow operation or STS operation between FSO/FPSO and tanker. Maybe korang yang akan naik AET or tanker fleets, might experience this thing la. Which Tanker and FSO will do STS operation and transfer their cargoes from Tanker to FSO/FPSO or vice versa. 

So as OSV, kitaorang akan assist this tankers to make fast their mooring lines and transfer hose. Depends on the situation jugak. Sometimes akan engaged in static tow, and sometimes akan engaged in hose handling. 

What is static tow? Static Tow is the vsl yang akan pull the tanker via Towing Wire from the OSV. That OSV akan make sure the heading will be in line with the FSO/FPSO. And the vessel will make the tanker will be in the same area until the operation finish.

While the Hose Handler, akan assist transfer hose from the FSO/FPSO to tanker. And lastly tanker tu akan heave up hose tu using their ship's crane.
