The leader that you cannot denied that You admire him the most

Assalamualaikum and a very good evening to all of you who are reading this. We met again here! Well , today I would like to share with you about a leader that I admire the most. One person can have a lot of idols and this thing should be no problem, same goes to me here. I have a lot person or leaders that I admire, but I have my reasons why I have chosen Him as the first one. But before we are going too deep , the person that I'm talking about is Prophet Muhammad S.A.W .

Prophet Muhammad SAW was born in the 6th Century in Makkah at the time when the society was strangled in ignorance, intolerance, injustice and corruption was at its peak in all walks of life. He acted as a beacon of light and transformed the Arab society in a short span of time as a messenger of God and later the message reached the other continents too.

He became the messenger of God at the age of 40; however even before that he held high respect in the community and was famous as a truthful and an honest man. People of all faiths respected his moral righteousness and his fair dealings in all spheres of life.

His teachings encompassed love, tolerance, harmony, forgiveness, peace, honesty, justice, truthfulness, kindness, compassionate behavior towards parents and elders, love and compassion towards young ones.

His teachings were reflected in his whole life and could be witnessed at the time of conquest of Makkah. At the time when he and his companions were living in Makkah before migration he was mistreated by the local community there and he never reciprocated rather forgave all of them.

In one of the incidents where an old lady used to throw garbage on him, he went and cleaned her house and enquired her well being when she missed throwing garbage on him for few days and after seeing such behavior she converted to Islam.

He prayed for forgiveness for all those people and their community who stoned him to the level that his shoes were filled with his own blood when he went there to spread the Message of God.

He showed to the humanity through his moral values how an ideal father, husband, son, friend, companion, businessman, teacher, leader, and reformer has to act and behave. He was not only a leader of the Muslims rather he was a universal kindhearted leader and reformist and people from all walks of life can learn from his life. He is a role model for the humanity of all time and ages irrespective of their religion, race, gender, background or ethnicity.

He was so kindhearted as he used to weep when a thief’s hand was amputated for getting punishment and he wished that person could not have committed the crime. The essence of his life was to change the society by good deeds and high moral standards so people can learn good habits and develop an ideal society based on the principal of welfare society where all men and women are equal in the eyes of law. It was Islam and its teachings that brought justice and equality in that society where you were recognized by your good character and deeds and not by your wealth, position or power. It was Islam and its teachings that gave respect and rights in property to women as well as recognized their role in society.

Have you ever read this book?

Michael Hart while praising Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his book “The 100: A ranking of the most influential persons in history” ranked him the most influential person in human history”. He writes about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his book; “He was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels” and he also mentioned, “It is this unparalleled combination of secular and religious influence which I feel entitles Muhammad to be considered the most influential single figure in human history”.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last messenger of God starting from Adam, Noah, Suleiman, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and many others in between who brought the message of God to different societies and communities in different eras. All messengers of God are and should be highly respected by humanity as they came to cleanse and transform humanity for betterment with a message from the Creator of this Universe.

Today people from all faiths and beliefs have to unite and agree that the respect of all the messengers of God has to be unquestionable and their sanctity and honor has to be uphold-ed at all times.

The prudent and the civilized world needs to have clear guidelines and should not allow blasphemy of any messenger of God in the name of freedom of speech. It is crucial to liberalize our societies but not at the expense of the most sacred and blessed people in human history.
